About Sita Ram Jindal Scholarship : The Sitaram Jindal Foundation (SJF), formerly known as S J Jindal Trust, established in 1969 is a charitable organization and one of the most sought after international NGOs in Bangalore with the humanitarian objective of serving the poor and downtrodden in various fields. SJF has been awarding scholarships since 1969 to the students belonging to the economically weaker
section of the society. The number of students availing scholarships range from 9000 to 14000
every year depending upon the number of deserving meritorious students for higher studies every year.
Girl students and physically challenged/ disabled students are given preference and higher amount of
scholarship. The scholarship amount varies from 700 to 4000 per month per student based on the
type of the academic course and its duration, subject to satisfactory progress reports.
Sita Ram Jindal Scholarship Eligibility Criteria and Amount
Category – A : For Class 11th & 12th
Amount ( Rs Per Months ) :
Boys : Rs 500/- And Girls : Rs 700/-
Eligibility Percentage of Marks :
Boys :- 60% and Girls :- 55%
For Karnataka : Boys :- 70% and Girls :- 65%
For West Bengal :Boys :- 65% and Girls :- 60
Category – B : ITI Students ( As Per SJF Trade List ) For Govt. ITIs & Private ITIs
Amount ( Rs Per Months ) :
Boys : Rs 500/- And Girls : Rs 700/-
Eligibility Percentage of Marks : Boys : 45% and Girls : 35%
Category – C : (i) Graduate Courses Like : B.A., B.Com, B.Sc, BFA, BCA, BBA, BBM, Bachelor of Bussiness Economics/Finance, B.Sc. (Ag.), BVSC Integrated course of 5 year ( first 3 year will be treated as graduation course)
(ii) In the field of Environment link : Environment Scientist, Environment Engineer and Environment Journalist.
(iii) In the field of Hospitality, Micro Biology, Forensic Sciences and Social Work.
i) General Category Students

b) Boys Amount Rs. 1100/-

Category D : Post Graduation Courses like : 1. MA, M.Phil, M.Com, M.Lib (Science), MBA, Master of Business Economics/Finance/ Human Resources Management/ International Business/ M.Sc. / MVSc, M.Sc. (Agriculture), MCA, Organic Agriculture, Solar Energy, Rural/Urban Management, Integrated course for 5 years (remaining 2 years amount for post graduation basis).
