(a) Discuss briefly the role of any two main organs of the United Nations.
(b) Explain briefly any five principles of International Environmental Law.
(c) Define NGOs and explain their origin.
(d) Discuss how ‘seed suicides’ committed by farmers in India were related to globalization.
3. (a) What is Rio declaration ? State its preamble and goal ? Mention the main features of Rio + 5 and Rio + 10 forums.
(b) What are „Alternative Technologies‟ ? Mention some of its challenges. How is the government encouraging use of these technologies ?
